ABLE Products were very pleased to assist the Chefs Long Table Lunch by supplying one of our AFINOX Infinity Start Blast Chiller/Freezers for the preparation of their dessert courses at their charity luncheon in Bunbury yesterday.

The Chefs Long Table Lunch is a unique community fundraising event held on the Pat Usher Foreshore in Bunbury, Western Australia on the last Sunday in February. It is run entirely by volunteers, with most of the food and wine served on the day donated by South West producers.

The event, the brainchild of award winning caterer Leonie Kershaw, was first held in 2004 with just over 100 people attending. Today, the event caters for more than 500 guests with funds raised distributed to South West not-for-profit community organisations who are selected as beneficiaries.

Under the guidance of WA Food Ambassador Don Hancey and local chef Tania Kershaw, a team of Western Australia’s top chefs donate their time and expertise to coordinate the impressive menu.

Great to see that Julie Lawrence, from St. Aidan Wines, and Don Hancey (Panorama Catering & Don Hancey Consulting) enjoyed using the AFINOX unit, and that the luncheon was a huge success.

We look forward to being involved again next year.
